2010
I am back from STC India Annual Conference 2010 and yes, it was an enriching experience. Apart from so many learning sessions, it was good to personally interact with industry stalwarts such as Mike H from Madcap, Steve D from AuthorIT, Tamas R from SDI, Katriina V from Citec Information, Rachel M from Contented. In addition, there were technical documentation Gurus including Gururaj from BEA Systems, Rajdeep from Infosys, Kumar D from Oracle, Michelle from BEA Systems, Swaminathan from Huawei, Mak Pandit from Technowrites, Saravanan and many more. (This is a random list and not in *any* order.)
The next few posts on this space will be about my experience about the conference, including on learning sessions such as:
- E-Learning (Process, Scripting, Techniques, Challenges and Skills)
- Designing Interactive PDF Forms
- Using wiki for print and online technical documentation
- Content reuse using AuthorIT
- Structured Authoring and Publishing using Adobe TCS 2.5
- Academic Writing
- Knowledge, Wisdom and Joy of Writing
- Content Strategy for Help and Support Portals
- Automation in Technical Writing
- And few more
Watch this space for more posts on the conference, including a revisit on a few sessions on technical subjects.
